Play Video

This documentary tells the stories of 5 female researchers from 5 countries in the global south who travel to ICGEB centers in New Delhi and Cape Town to carry out their studies and improve our understanding of crucial medical and biotechnological issues. The series is a story of female empowerment and cooperation with the global south, with the aim of promoting ICGEB’s research programs and inspiring young women to pursue their dreams in scientific careers.

Empower Fellowship is jointly launched by UNOSSC and ICGEB. It has been made possible thanks to the funding support by the Zayed International Foundation for the Environment to UNOSSCs. Youth4South Initiative.

You can find here the full documentary and the video portraits for each of the Fellows.
